Limit on Amount Due to pay online through TurboTax

I would like to know while e-filing my Federal taxes, is there any limit in TurboTax software on the amount due to the IRS that I can pay by direct debit? I have a special case where I need to pay AMT taxes for ISO stock options exercised and the tax bill due is over $500,000.

Will I be able to e-file my Federal taxes with TurboTax in this case? Please let me know what is the maximum amount of tax due that I can pay through TurboTax online as part of e-filing.

Thanks,
Mridul

I haven't seen any limit mentioned in the program.  Maybe check with your bank, but I suspect it's okay.

Another option is to pay directly on the IRS website. The IRS Direct Pay won't accept more than two payments within a 24-hour period, and each payment must be less than $10 million.

Direct Pay with Bank Account.

My question is whether I can e-file using TurboTax.

You can e-file through TT.  I thought your question  was whether you could pay the large amount as part of your e-filing.  I think yes, but if somehow not, just sign up for eftps.gov  .   I don't think the government will turn down your money!

Yes, you can still e-file your tax return and use direct debit with TurboTax to pay your taxes due to the IRS.
