Legal name change, W2 has old name

Went through a legal name change last year.  I have the updated Social Security card.  Changed jobs.  1 W2 has the dead name and 1 W2 has the new name.  Both have the same SSN.  How do I deal with this?

On your tax return you enter the name that is on your current Social Security card. The name on the tax return and the name on the W-2 do not have to match. Only the Social Security numbers should match.

The IRS is more interested in your social security number but if the program allows it change to your new name on your social security card since that is what the IRS references. Your return will be processed either way.
