Last year I started a new job and resigned from my previous one in June. I have received my W2 from my current employer(new job) but have not from my previous(old job) employer. Should I wait until I
receive both W2 to file for my returns?

Yes, I would recommend waiting until you receive all your tax forms before filing. This will prevent you from having to amend your tax return.
