Turbotax has no access to IRS or employer EINs.  you could file form 4852 (substitute W-2) but the IRS first wants you to contact the employer for a corrected w-2 and then contact them before filing it.  So Turbotax was correct in telling you to contact the IRS. Even a tax professional couldn't help except by getting a power of attorney from you and contacting the iRS on your behalf.

Contact IRS with your employer's name and address ready, and they will tell you how to proceed.

@renerangel0826  Are you asking about the Employer EIN for W2 box b?  (you said ein employee).  Did you get a W2 with a missing or wrong EIN?  How do you know  the EIN is wrong?  Or did they pay you as a 1099  instead of a W2 employee?  Or is the control number wrong in W2 box d or your SSN wrong in in box a?

I had just gotten my last w2 I paid last year with no service rendered

.I was hoping you could help, for the 2 years since your company didn't do what I paid for?

TurboTax does not know the EIN of the your past or current employer. Your best bet is to ask your employer or payroll department for another copy of your W-2 with the correct EIN number.
