Last chance: Enroll in automatic tax form imports - Email and Support answer

I received an email from Turbotax with the title "Last chance: Enroll in automatic tax form imports", indicating that today is the last day that I can automatically import my W-2, 1099 from banks, etc..

In the past I never had the problem after January 30, so I asked the Turbotax Help chat and it gave me the following answer:

  • The "last chance" to enroll in automatic tax form imports typically refers to a deadline for setting up this feature for the current tax season.
  • If you miss this deadline, you may not be able to automatically import your tax forms for this year, but you can still manually enter your information.
  • Auto-import allows TurboTax to automatically pull in your tax forms from participating financial institutions, making the filing process easier.

If you have specific questions about your TurboTax settings or need assistance with the enrollment process, feel free to ask!

Does anyone know why Turbotax is limiting the automated import of forms until January 30? Why can't I import them after today and have to do it manually?

Sounds like spam. Are you sure it came from Intuit?
