But I can't help to understand if this was about the similar issue OP was having or is this another technical issue you are dealing with.
Because if it were pertaining the control number for Costco Tax Refunds, a responder actually resolved the issue already. ^

That was for an old tax year. I tried it and it did not work
Did you enter space in between the last number and TXH? It just worked for me.
This worked for me in 2025. I copied and pasted the control number from the online W2 box d into turbotax. Then I typed a "space" after it and then typed TXH and the turbotax form then accepted it.
Assuming you're referring to the control number (box D) on your W-2, you don't need to enter it (unless you may be trying to import it).
If you get errors when attempting to import your W-2, you may need To type it in yourself (download/print a copy and then manually enter your W-2 information).
