K-1, Box 16 has entries for Codes B, E and G only. Error message says there are entries in Code K, and either Code I or Code J. What else can trigger this error?

I have tried creating multiple K-1s to break out the Box 16 items, but I receive that same error message when I have any 1 of the 3 Codes is entered. I have entered other K-1s without issue, but this one is kicking me. Help appreciated.

Please make sure you are using the right K-1 entry form.

There are actually three types of K-1s, depending on the type of entity creating the K-1: Partnership, S-Corp and Trust/Estate.  Lines and codes on the forms differ from each other.

Thanks for the response and suggestion, SweetieJean. All of my K-1s are partnerships. The only thing different about this K-1 is the international income in Box 16.

Do you have any zeroes anywhere in Part 3?

Thanks, rogge1722. Yes, there are quite a few zeros in Part 3. Boxes 6a, 6b, 8,10, 11E, 13A,15M, 16C, 16H, 17B and 18C are all zeros. What should I do with them?

Zeroes are known to cause issues. I suggest deleting all of them. In box 16 and other boxes that are drop down type, delete both the zero and the descriptor to the left of it for a complete removal.
