It won't accept the date I moved to another state 03/01/23. It says Can't be after 12/31/2022 but I didn't move out than.

You are completing 2022 tax return.  If you did not move to another state in 2022 then you do not select lived in another state.  Your resident state is where you lived on 12/31/2022.

I concur, just read what the line says it says 12/31/2022. I know taxes are a pain and yes i dont even read it

Wait until your 2023 return to show you made a move on 3/1/23. As far as TTax and the IRS is concerned you lived in one state all of 2022 if you didn't move until 2023.
