It will not accept my W-2. States "Up to 35 characters allowed" on box C-Employer name. I have exactly what is o my W-2 entered.

It's all right to stop a few characters short of the 35 or meet that 35 character limit.  It's not necessary to add the full name of the employer because the IRS will check the employer's EIN with the first several letters of the employer name.

Once you do that you should be able to proceed.
