It says I need to fix a form by checking the Employer State ID number. I've checked they are all good. Why will it not submit?

Employer ID numbers are truly a pain. Same for the Document control number.

If a space is present try without a space.

Be careful that you didn't use a capital I for a 1 or vice versa.

If it has a dash (-) try without it.

Make sure if you copied and pasted it there is no space after the last character.

My experience: The Fed form required a space; the state would not accept a space character even though that was the way it was printed.

I finally tried changing the WTH to lowercase wth and it went through. Sheesh!
