It says I have to add an entry to a 1099-div worksheet. It won't let me efile without it. How can I do this?

The information was downloaded automatically by the stock broker

What type of entry is it looking for.   In certain situations there is information that cannot be downloaded with the broker forms and must be provided by you after the import.

For instance, if you have $$$ in box 11 of a 2018 1099-DIV form, then you have to go thru it and edit it to indicate what state the $$ came from and that must be entered manually by you.

(unless you hold a state specific mutual fund...it's usually "More than one state", but many states allow you to break out the exact amount that belongs to bonds from your own state or any US Territory)
