It’s not sending my code so I can sign and file my taxes

You must create your own code.  Remember it.  The IRS could ask for it in the event they must contact you about your return.  I have used a code for many years, only audited once, but they never asked me for my code.

I think they are talking about the code to verify their email.  I'm also having this issue.
