It appears to me, that my Estimated Tax Payments towards my 2019 tax liability are posting twice. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks in advance for some direction. Rod

Estimated Tax Payments showing as last line/entry on my 'YOUR INCOME'.. also showing under 'YOUR TAX BREAKS' as Estimated Tax Payments. Adds in twice to my total Tax Payments shown on Federal Review.. I used to be in IT, kinda looks like a bug.. ? I'm probably missing something.. getting old. Rod

I would check the Form 1040, Schedule 3 and see if the double payments are coming through there. If they are not, then you do not need to worry.

To pull up a copy of your 2019 Form 1040 and Schedules 1 to 3, follow these directions:

  • You should be signed in and working in TurboTax
  • Click on Federal in the main left-hand side menu
  • Click Tax Tools, then Tools in the main left-hand side menu
  • In the pop-up window, click on View Tax Summary
  • The left-hand menu has now changed, click on View My 1040

Once the forms load, scroll down to Schedule 3. Check line 8 to see the 2019 Estimated Payments and Amount Applied From 2018 Return.
