I am attempting to fill out this form however am unable to submit it as it states there is an issue with LINE 24a. There is an Other State Tax Computation Smart Worksheet that calculated an amount f tax imposed by other state (I don't know why it is this way). There is another number higher in 24a that I did not put there and I am unsure what number should be there.
I work in NJ but live in NY and have wages being taxed by both states.
What should be on line 24a??
