Is there due time for tax filing online?

I know tax report deadline is April 18 2023. But I wonder is there any specific time limit for tax filing online? Thank you.

You can use TurboTax to e-file a 2022 tax return at any time on or before October 16, 2023.

Also, if I file the tax report via mail, is it okay to send it on the due date?

If you mail the tax return the envelope must be postmarked on or before midnight on April 18, 2023.

 

You can e-file and extension request to add 6 months for filing a tax return.  However, if you have taxes owed they must be paid on or before April 18, 2023 to avoid a late payment penalty.
