Is there any way we can file and give our bank account info? Then, they don't have to retrieve it from their records if we're on SSI/SSD. Needing $$

If you only receive social security benefits (SSI/SSD), you do not have to file a return. The IRS will use the bank information from your Social security data to make a direct deposit of your stimulus payment.

We only know as much as the IRS updates. Here is IRS Economic Impact Payments. They will open a portal to register your bank account but we do not know the process the IRS is using for priority. Keep an eye on the link above for the most up to date news from the IRS.

Thank you, so I also read that filing bank info again would assist and speed process and help to get the stimulus check delivered more expediently, but this is not the case then?
