Is there an age limit for contributions to a traditional IRA?

The instructions in TurboTax include, "Who is eligible to invest in an IRA?
You can set up an IRA if you are an employed person who has not yet reached the age of 72, with taxable compensation during the year you open your account...."  I do not see the age limit in IRS publications nor on several brokerage firm websites.  Is this help instruction outdated?

That’s old information. You can open one and contribute at any age.
