Is there a workaround for TurboTax not letting me efile because my DOB didn't match SSA? I've corrected and given time for corrected info to reach the IRS.

The IRS rejected my submission because SSA has my incorrect DOB. I corrected with SSA and waited several weeks to be sure the IRS had time to receive the corrected information. Now, Turbo Tax isn't letting me e-File and is insisting I file by mail. The whole reason for choosing Turbo Tax was for the convenience of e-Filing!! Help!

You need to just file by mail.  It is not TurboTax that is not "letting you" e-file--rejections come from the IRS.  It could take months for the system to match the SSN information you corrected.  Print your return, sign it and mail it

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return.

When you mail your tax return, wait about 4 weeks and then check the IRS site:

While the SSA updates it's database quickly, it can take months for the IRS to update it's database.  I would not count on the IRS to update before tax season next year in 2019.
