Is there a way to find out if your employer ever paid you for overtime on your w-2 form??

Employer never provides paystubs with checks and it is a hassle to get them when requested. If you are paid overtime hours as an hourly employee would it show up on your w-2?

No, you cannot calculate overtime from the W-2.

  • The 2024 W-2 does not separate overtime.
  • If you still have the pay stubs you may be able to calculate it.

Well sure.  You have more income and the more income you have  you pay a higher percent of tax.
