Is there a way to access my 2017 w2 through the employer identification number saved on TurboTax from last year? I do not have access to my w2.

It depends.  With the EIN, you can access your 2017 W-2 if your employer's payroll provider is one of TurboTax Import Partners that offers W-2 import to TurboTax.  

You will be prompted to complete the Box 1 amount from your W-2, but if you do not have access to your W-2, you may be able to enter your YTD gross income from your 2017 year-end paystub.
