Depends on your situation, you can use the free file to find out...if in the event you need to pay then you can download what you filled out up to that point and use the paid software. Also they will charge you to eFile and direct deposit your refunds.
So if I have W-2 wages, 1099 income and extra income from TIPS then I will have to use a different filing platform how much will my FEES be???
Also, I will owe some taxes.. Will there be an additional charge to pay those by Turbo Tax?? Or how do I pay them?
I paid for the premier version which was $110 + tax. TurboTax then charged me $65 to efile my state taxes at the very end of the process. So it was a total of $175 plus tax...but again it depends on what version you need to file....there's basic and deluxe as well that are cheaper and could be the way to go. I'd simply read over what each one includes and go from there. If you get one of the cheaper products you can upgrade(?) according to the intuit website but I've always used Premier due to my personal tax situation.
If you owe in and direct debit the funds from a bank account there's no fee otherwise there's fees associated with paying with a credit card etc.
GL with your taxes!
