Is the turbotax charge for credit card payments of taxes still 2.5%? I have been a customer for years and am wondering if it's still that high

Yes, but its not actually TurboTax that sets the processing fees.  There is an additional charge set by the IRS processing services when you choose an integrated e-file and pay option compared to paying the IRS directly through Direct Pay.
