Is the stimulus payments taxable? Because my state return went from getting $60 to owing $45 when I entered what I got.

No, the payment is not income and taxpayers will not owe tax on it. The payment will not reduce your refund or increase the amount you owe.

 

Check your State again, look at your refund before you entered your stimulus and directly after to see if that really caused the change.

that is how some states do it.

Oregon is one of them.
