Is the health care penalty calculated into my federal tax return?

Yes, if you have a penalty for not having health care coverage all year, it gets calculated and shows up on your 1040, Schedule 4, Line 61.

Thank you for the answer. So it will show up under the Federal amount in the end when I’m done filing on TurboTax? You know where it shows the federal and state returns in the end? I was wondering if it is automatically calculated in that federal return amount or if I have to pay it separately?
