If you buy the Desktop download program then All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions. But the Basic version does not come with a free state program download.
The Turbo Tax Online versions are the Free Edition, Deluxe and Premium. There is no Basic version. You can start in the Free Edition and it will make you upgrade to a higher version if you try to enter something your version doesn’t have.
