IS it ok that my federal tax return has estimated payment vouchers at the beginning when I did not intend to do that? All I have is W-2 income where my employer deducts.

Yes, you do not have to use those if you have W-2 income.  All returns are receiving those vouchers in event enough taxes were not taken out.  You do not have to do anything.  Please see the post below for more information on estimated taxes.
