Is anyone else having trouble getting Turbo Tax to upload documents from Fidelity Investments?

What do you mean by "upload" documents?  Do you mean import a 1099 into the program from Fidelity as opposed to manually entering one?

Documents from Fidelity Investments cannot be imported until the currently-scheduled date of January 30 at 4:00 PM Pacific.

If you tried to import from Fidelity now, TurboTax Online should have shown you a screen stating such.   If yours didn't, I'm not sure why.

If you have the hard copy of the 1099, you should be able to manually enter it now into the program.   To do that, on the screen that asks for the financial institution and has logos, scroll down to the bottom right and choose to enter it another way.   Then on the next screen you can scroll down and choose "Type it in myself."

@Anarchy    Since it's not completely clear what you mean by "upload", I assumed you meant importing.   However, I went ahead and revised the above answer to add the manual instructions as well in case you want to enter a 1099 manually now instead of waiting for the import function to be switched on.

But be aware there's no hurry to finish and efile now.  This year, due to recent tax law changes the IRS will not begin processing returns until Febuary 12, 2021, and any returns efiled now will just sit on TurboTax servers until then, except for a very small number that the IRS pulls early for testing purposes.   If you efile early, and if you later notice a mistake or get an extra form, etc.,  you cannot retrieve the return to make a correction unless the IRS rejects the return after February 12.

....and...the 30 January date may not be the same for everyone either.

When I check my Fidelity account, they tell me it will be 13 January for mine.....because of the delayed reporting for two of my holdings within my account

......And if you hold any REITs in your account, it could be March before everything is complete and ready on the Fidelity end.
