Is a 1095-C form the same as 1095-A? Is it normal to have no information on this form to enter?

No, those are not the same at all.   Only a 1095A shows information for health insurance from the marketplace---aka "Obamacare" or Affordable Care" from healthcare.gov.

You do not enter a 1095C at all on a tax return.  If you have a 1095C you say NO to the question that asked about a 1095A.

No. Form 1095-C includes information about the health insurance coverage offered to you by your employer. You don't need to report it on your return.

If you or anyone in your household enrolled in a health plan through the Health Insurance Marketplace, you’ll get Form 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace Statement. You will get this form from the Marketplace. You need to report it on your return to calculate the amount of your premium tax credit.
