IRS updated Form 4684 to waive the 10% of adjusted gross income rules for this effected by Hurricane Irma but Turbo Tax isnt taking this into account, Why?

Read page 2 of 4684 instructions (https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i4684.pdf) Turbo tax has not updated yet to take this into account for those of us taking losses for the hurricane.

Form 4684 for tax year 2017 has not yet been finalized in the TurboTax software.  The IRS has to approve all forms and schedules included in the software before they can be finalized.  The current date for Form 4684 is 01/25/2018.

Today is 2/20/18 and the casualty loss is not showing as a deduction on my return - shows as $0 -  Hurricane Harvey.

keb94125 - Be sure you are following this answer but select the disaster that applies to you:
<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/6679901">https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/6679901</a>
The qualified disaster loss is on line 15 of Form 4684 (the last copy) and from there it goes to Schedule A line 28 where it's added in with your other itemized deductions or added to your standard deduction, whichever is larger, and from there to Form 1040 line 40.

The revised form is, and has been out for some time.  Turbotax however has not updated the software to reflect.

3.24.20018 and still waiting for this to be completed....
