IRS 1040 Support for U.S. Expats in Europe

Does TurboTax have a team of Experts with experience advising on, or actually preparing, U.S. tax returns from U.S. expats living in EU countries (for example, residing in Germany in my case)?

Great question!!!

We have experts that you could either talk to on the phone or chat with using our Live Help in the software.

I am also thinking you can click on DO MY TAXES FOR ME and have a Tax Expert do your taxes for you.

This might be easier in the long run.

Thank you, Katherine. If I go with the Do My Taxes For Me option, will a TurboTax pre-interview (online or live via telephone) allow me to identify myself as an expat filer in Germany and connect with an Expert with the appropriate experience.

Yes and if you have high phone costs because of calling from overseas, you can ask that they ask question via the chat in Full Service instead of having you stay on the phone.
