Incomplete state tax

My state return was incomplete so now I have to print it off and send it by mail. Not hard, but is there anything I need to complete on it? I followed the directions on fixing i didn't do a single thing different to it?

Your state return(s) will show a status of incomplete if you filed your federal return by itself (or with another state).
If your federal return has been accepted you can e-file your state return.  E-filing a state by itself is only allowed once a federal return is accepted.

To access your state return(s), after filing your federal return, please follow these steps:

1. On the Overview page, click on My TurboTax > My Tax Timeline.  [See Screenshot #1, below.]

2. Click on Continue my [state] return.  [Screenshot #2]

3. If you have not completed your state return, click on the State Taxes tab.

4.  If you have completed your state return, click on the Review tab and go through the prompts to file your state return.  [Screenshot #3]

When I first noticed it I faintly remembered following the steps to almost redo my state return? So I'm gonna just re-do my state tax stuff, at the end it should let me just send it off then? Thanks for your help I really appreciate it!

Okay so now, at the "let's take care of your details" in the steps, it needs me to review an answer or 2, so I click "review", and then "fix idaho return" and from here it takes me to the page saying I won't be able to e'file my return because it's amended so I click continue and it takes me back to square 1, "let's take care of these details."

See the answer  below to remove the "amended" trigger from your Idaho return.

You may have inadvertently clicked the box to create an amended state return. To remove the "amended " trigger from your Idaho return, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign back in to your return and click on the State Taxes tab.
  2. Click on the Edit box next to your state return.
  3. Continue through the screens until you reach Amended Return (Form 43).  [Screenshot #1]
  4. Mark the No button and click Continue.
  5. You should now be able to e-file your state return.
