In working in the online version for my personal return there was a specific location to enter my s-corp income. I had to switch to the desktop version and see no option

I only see a place to enter business income.  Do I use this area to enter my s-corp info?

You should have received a Schedule K-1 from the S Corp so it can be entered on your personal tax return.

To enter a Schedule K-1

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Business Items (Business Investment and Estate/Trust Income using Home and Business)
  • On Schedule K-1, click on the start or update button

Or enter k-1 in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to k-1

I do have the k-1's.  My questions is that while working on the on-line version there was a specific location to enter S-corp income, the desktop version does not, or at least I'm not seeing it.   So does this matter?  Do I just use the business income section to enter the k-1 from the s-corp?

Using the desktop editions it is as stated in the answer provided -

Or enter k-1 in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to k-1

It will take you to this screen -
