In TurboTax, only the interest for my checking account is reported on the auto filled 1099-INT form. How do I add savings account interest from the same fin. inst.?

I received a 1099-INT from my bank that has financial info for both the checking and the savings account, separate interest for each. When importing to TurboTax, it only fills in the details of the checking account interest. How do I add the info for the savings account?

You can total the interest earned from the same financial institution on one 1099-INT.  Edit the 1099-INT and enter the total interest earned in box 1.

Go to your bank statement dated December 31, 2022 and find your interest earned for the year.  Report this amount as your savings account interest income.
