TT says the Federal Banking sytem is closed but this has never happened before. I've been using TT for 8 years without issue until now. I hope I don't get a penalty due to some policy change at TT.

The following FAQ says turbo tax will take care of it, if there's an issue.

So I did what was suggested, changing the date to the 16th, a couple of hours ago. When the IRS comes after us for penalties (and they will) what assurance do we have that TT won't just say it was our fault for putting the wrong date in, when in fact it was TT system's problem?
