In my 2019 filing return I noticed it says I have a California tax due of $10. How do I pay this? And is there any penalties for paying it this late?

Are you sure you did not pay it when you filed the tax return?   TurboTax never knows if you paid your tax due.   Your account will always show that you had tax due even if you paid it.  The account only shows the result of the return you prepared----not whether you paid.    Your own bank or credit card records are your only proof of payment.

you can't e-file it so follow TT filing instructions as to sending in a check or money order (keep support) with the return.   as to any penalties for late payment and filing, wait to see if you get billed. use a method where you get proof of delivery.

Yes, I just checked online on the official IRS website and it says my account balance is 0$. But on TurboTax it did say I owed 10$. Which is odd because I remember selecting to donate 10$ to an org. So I never owed anything. Also I didn’t know you can pay a balance owed online on the IRS website. Thanks for the help.

Thank you, I realized I couldn't pay the balance through turbo tax I was confused as to where the 10$ balance came from filing in 2020. I donated 10$ but now it shows on TT I owe 10$. I checked on IRS website and I owe nothing. Also it gives me an option to pay through the IRS website. Is this a new feature? If so makes it a-lot easier to manage my balance.
