In 2023 I was able to file my federal income tax via email and select to send state via mail. This year, it was not that clear. Did anyone experience this?

There was not a separate choice just a "I will do state later" not at the same time as federal.

Select "I will do state later", send the federal by efile, then go back and send the state by mail.
