Importing last years information from H&R block

Before purchasing TT for 2024, I checked that it would import my data from last year's H&R block PDF file. After purchase, I find that it will not import anything because I filed a 1040-SR return last year. This was not disclosed before purchase, and the pitch for the import routine says it will transfer over 100 fields. That means I have to manually transfer those fields. Not what was promised! Anyone know a workaround, or would I be better to go back to H&R?

not sure why 1040SR would cause an issue. It's the same as a 1040 just that pages 1 and 2 have a larger font.

try contacting Turbotax support.

Right this FAQ says you can’t transfer from a 1040-SR pdf.   But even if you could a pdf only transfers very basic info like your name, address, ssn and AGI so it’s really not worth it.

That was my thought, but contacting support, they only reiterated that it would not work with a 1040-SR but couldn't explain why. There also seems to be some confusion as to exactly what info is transferred. The pitch says "over 100 fields of info " is transferred, but others have said only name, address, etc is actually done.

Yes, I got that help article as an answer from support, but not why it won't work. The instruction page says "over 100 fields populated in the transfer" so I didn't really want to do all that manually.
