Importing last year's tax return

I've used Turbotax for over 20 years with little or no problem.  This year when I imported last year's income tax (2018) information I found the information imported is inaccurate.  For example the amount of interest and dividends shown on the imported tax information is substantially less than the amounts shown on last year's tax returns.  I realize I will be changing those numbers to reflect the amounts for 2019 but when I observe consistently wrong information being imported it makes me very nervous about why that imported information is so inaccurate.  Anybody have any thoughts about why this happened?

We always recommend reviewing the imported data when you see that the information is not correct. Please click Troubleshoot transferring from a prior year return to learn more.

The answer provided is absolutely worthless -

The issue is that the data that did transfer is incorrect.  For example, 2019 interest income in 2019 TT was $212 when imported to 2020 TT it shows as $10,000+

Now I have used TT for many years and this concerns me as to accuracy of ALL calculations and ALL Comparisons.

What is the problem with reading the questions and providing a response that ties to the question?

I have the same problem.  My 2020 income is not correct.  It shows the same as 2021.
