Im self employed and filled out a 1099NEC and it’s asking me for my ein number- however I don’t have one. I’m not sure which form I’m suppose to be filling out.

Are you issuing a 1099 to someone or are you reporting one that you received. If you received the form, enter the EIN of the issuer. If you are issuing and are not required to have an EIN, use your social security number.
