Im married but didnt live with my wife the whole year, can i file as single?

No.  But you can file MFS separately or Head of Household if you have a qualifying child.  But actually Joint would still be the best way to file.

OK thanks, because someone was telling me that I would be able to due to me living over seas away from my wife a whole year

I agree with VolvoGirl, there is NOT an option to file as Single if you are actually married.  It does not matter where your spouse lives.
