Im from WA, and do not know if i am supposed to enter a sales tax or not, it mentioned something about entering sales tax from all my receipts but i dont have those

Take a look at a typical receipt and see what the sales tax is in your area. Then enter that and TT will figure out a typical amount of sales tax that you paid for 2019. There are also tables from the IRS that you can consult.

If you did not pay any State Income Tax, you can claim a standard Sales Tax Deduction in your Federal Return instead.

 

This is based on family size and income, so you don't have to have all your receipts.

 

Type 'sales tax' in the Search area, then click on 'Jump to sales tax'.
