You cannot e-file a married separate return from a community property state.  You may, however, be able to file as Head of Household if you have a qualifying Dependent who lived with you, or are legally separated.  Can you give more detail in the comments?

Wife is not legally separated though they physically separated 3 years ago.  She does qualify as Head of Household due to qualifying dependent.  The only info she has on husband is his ITIN.  The questions is can she still eFile if she has no other information regarding him?  She lives in a community property state.

In other words, she does not know his status, location or income info.

As Head of Household, she does not need any of his information.
