If TurboTax recommended the standard ded. last year after evaluating all of my expenses, does TurboTax still save a Schedule A, so I can see how close I was to itemizing?

After I input all of my deductions, TurboTax recommended I go with the standard deduction, which I did.  Now my financial advisor is wondering how close I was to itemizing, and so I'm wondering if TurboTax saved a Schedule A for me with all of my itemized deductions, even though I ultimately ended up going with the standard deduction...?

Yes, if you entered all your Deductions, TurboTax prepared a Schedule A for you, even though you filed with the Standard Deduction.

If you saved a PDF copy of your return with all Forms and Worksheets, it should include Schedule A.

Also, if you started a 2023 return in TurboTax Online and used the same Sign In as last year, your deductions that you entered last year will be showing on the Credit & Deductions Summary page.

Unless your deductions changed a lot from last year to this year, what you have for this year should give a good idea of what you had last year.
