If there was no income in 2024 do I still need to file a tax return?

If you did not receive any taxable income of any kind in 2024 there is no need or reason to file a 2024 tax return.

Unless you also received a Form 1095-A for your health insurance through one of the State Marketplace Exchanges or from healthcare.gov then you must file a tax return.

If you have no income, you aren't required to file a tax return for 2024.
