"If the only 199A income is REIT dividends from one or more 1099-DIVs... then you cannot file your return at this time. This will be supported in a subsequent release"????

Turbotax is blocking me from proceeding with my federal return with the following error.

"Qualified Business Inc Deduction Summary: Total REIT dividends - If the only 199A income is REIT dividends from one or more 1099-DIVs and your taxable income is over the threshold for your filing status ... then you cannot file your return at this time. This will be supported in a subsequent release."

In the "Qualified Business Income Deduction Summary", which is getting flagged, it's flagging line 9 for "Total REIT dividends". I suspect it's sourcing this value from one of my 1099-DIV forms from mutual fund investment.

How do I fix this? I don't even run a business and am employed. I've spent 2 hours going through the forms and this is incredibly frustrating.

Thanks in advance.

This could be a result of the fact that Form 8995-A has not been finalized and incorporated into the program at this point in time.

Form 8995-A is scheduled to be released (in an update) on 2/20/2020.

I see. Thanks for pointing this out. I hope this is resolved by then.
