If my wife filed our taxes last year and I want to do them this year, how do I go about changing our account to show me as the person in charge?

If you filed Married Filing Jointly last year and you plan on doing so this year, then you can still enter all the tax information for you and your wife without assigning someone as being the "in charge" person.  If your wife created the account, you'll simply need to know the login information.

Whoever is listed first in TurboTax will appear first on the tax return, and whoever is listed second (as "spouse") will appear second on the return.  If you prefer to change this order, you can go to the Personal Info tab and switch the names & applicable information around.

But if that's not an issue, then you'll enter all the income information and answer TurboTax's questions about which income belongs to whom, just as she did last year.  No need to assign someone as the person entering the information.
