No, once your return has been accepted by the IRS it is accepted and can not reject. If there are errors on your return or the IRS has questions about your input you could receive a notice in the mail from the IRS at a later date. Please use the below information to check your e-file status to confirm that your return has been accepted by the IRS and/or State agency. This link will also help you to track your refund status.
When will I get my IRS tax refund?I've tried the tracking of my return but it tells me it cant find my info. Why can't it tell me when I'll receive my return?
The first step asks you to check your e-file status. Does your e-file status say "accepted"?
Then make sure that you enter your refund details (amount and filing status EXACTLY) as it was on your return. Use this link to get a copy of your return so that you can make sure you are entering the information correctly: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3301525
Yes I've checked the status and I'm entering my info right. I'm confused on why it would say it can't find my info. I've gotten emails saying I can track my refund now but when I try it says that.
Federal return February 6 and state February 7. I e-filed February 6.
When you enter your expected refund amount into the refund tracking system, are you entering the full amount? Before any bank processing fees come out.
yes. I didn't have any money coming out. So I'm entering the amount that shows up when I go into my turbo tax account.
Have a copy of your return in front of your and call the IRS to see if there is a problem. Once they accept it, they would be able to tell you if there is a reason for the delay. 1-800-829-1954
There are lots of posts asking this. The IRS must be behind in updating the refund lookup. It seems to be taking longer this year to show up at the IRS.
So it could just be the IRS? Nothing wrong with my refund?
The IRS seems to have slowed down significantly. My return was accepted within an hour of being submitted, but it's now two weeks post-submission and has not moved to approved yet. The bar is still visible, but there's a hyperlink at the bottom of the pane for the "where's my refund" page that has the code 152 general information "related to my tax situation. Does this mean I should be expectant of further contact? When I submitted everything checked good through the final reviews prior to submission.
