If I was wrongfully claimed as a dependent in 2019, how would I say that on my 2020 taxes using turbo tax?

Was wrongfully claimed as a dependent on my 2019 taxes from a parent without my knowledge and missed out on the stimulus because of it, Help! I haven't done my 2020 taxes yes, So, How can I verbalize that on turbo tax to let them know, so I can get those stimulus checks back?

Are you sure you were wrongfully claimed?  If you were a student under age 24 on 12/31/2019, it is likely that your parents were still able to claim you.  Did you file your own tax return for that year?  Have you discussed this with your parents?

You cannot retroactively correct 2019 via your 2020 return.  Rather, you file as  a non-dependent for 2020.

Yes. I was 18, and made $14,527 for the 2019 year. And out of school by June.

I didn't do my taxes last year a hired accountant did for us. And dad put that I was a dependent without my knowledge.
