If you purchased the 2022 desktop software from TurboTax, contact TurboTax support on Monday and explain your situation.  They should provide you a Mac download at no charge.

TurboTax support is open from 5am to 5pm Pacific time, Monday thru Friday

See this TurboTax support FAQ for contacting support - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/account-management/turbotax-phone-number/L0Od33nMQ_US_en_US?uid=lfgviwbm

Online  to   WIN    to  MAC  can be done.  You need the most current  .taxfile  for each move and you OPEN the tax file each time ...do not try to transfer it.  If you started a state return you will have to open a fake return, put in just enough info to be able to install the state programming  before you will be able to open the .taxfile which includes state info in it.

User caw4 on 2/26/23  found a way to get both the Windows and Mac downloads.  Has screenshots.  Scroll down to find his post.

For windows, sometimes, partially-installed OS updates will cause freez-ups in various spots.

Make sure you've full installed any Windows OS updates and reboot.  That might fix the problem......but otherwise switching to a MAC would be OK  (though a newer Windows machine might work better).
