If I order Turbo Tax Premiere Live, can I get a free download of the PC/Windows version?

If I order Turbo Tax Premiere Live, can I get a free download of the PC/Windows version of Premiere?

 

Can I work on the downloaded version on my PC and if I need online Live help, do I just upload the data to the online version?

No.  The TurboTax online editions and the TurboTax desktop CD/Download edition are separate programs with separate price points, so you would Not receive a free download of the Premier desktop edition if you are using the Live Premier online edition.

 

Additionally, the 2020 tax data file from the desktop editions cannot be transferred to the 2020 online editions.

I used the desktop edition for 2019, so would that mean that the previous year's (2019) tax data can't be imported into 2020 online Live version?

The 2019 tax data from the desktop edition can be transferred to the 2020 online editions.
